Did you say note taking? No, its mind mapping now. It's note taking, but much more productive and with scope for collaboration with others.

This mind mapping program supports collborative work and claims that it works less like a computer and more like people and thoughts. Moreover, it is an online tool that is available for free and lets you export your mind maps in PNG or PDF formats.
2. MindMeister
This one allows you to share your mind maps with others using email, history view etc. In addition, you can also export your mind maps ina lot of different formats and while changes made by other users are colour coded, changes are also stored on the company's servers always.
